Architecture, ceiling heights, natural light, and structural proportions dictate the plan. I design spatial layouts, structural modifications, and fixed interior architecture to work with the building, not against it.
I select and specify every surface, architectural finish, and fixed feature. from natural stone and timber to custom millwork, plumbing, and lighting fixtures. Balancing function, correct scale, and long-term durability.
Furniture, lighting, fine art, and objects are sourced through established galleries, workshops, and private suppliers. Existing collections are evaluated to determine what to retain, restore, or incorporate.
I remain involved throughout implementation, coordinating with the construction team and overseeing procurement, custom fabrication, deliveries, installation, and scheduling. This ensures that the design is translated with precision and that the quality envisioned is carried through to completion.
Final placement, styling, and detailing of all furnishings, artwork, and objects are directed on-site. The space is handed over fully realized, resolved, and suited entirely to your life.
